And again a cuitar from the unknown Condor corporation ltd, japanese but that’s all i know instead of the
strat in already own of the same company this is a real budget instrument.
Plywood body, the layers are clearly visuable beneath the finish on it sides, the neckpocket is a little bit too
big, needed some shims to get the neck allignment right, the intonation is after some modifications, like
rotating the saddles and shortening the strings, acceptable, playabillity is allright and the pickups are
reasonable hot, more output than i expected on a guitar of this age.
Tuners work well and precise but a little bit stiff, and keep tune allright.
The fretedges are a little bit sharp, i suspect that the fretboard has shrunk a little after many years of neglect,
a common problem on guitars like this one, easy to fix with a small file.
Further a good and nice round neck with narrow frets in good condition, like you expect on a telecaster.
Suspect this one is made in the early 70’s, funny little thing and odd enough too add to my collection.
