Kinor doublecut LP special model
A surprisingly good guitar from Kinor, for that brand that is, good playable, excellent fretwork good feeling
neck, a 3 peice body made of a for me unknown kind of wood, the guitar is very low weight that for sure.
Only the cheap rollerbridge looks a little bit misplaced on this for the rest good looking guitar , it’s a pitty but
it’s a nice guitar with two dogear p90 pu’s.
These pickups are slightly microphonic but what else you expect on susch an old cheapo, the scratchplate
is also not of the good shape compared to the original specials the plate used on this one is more inspired
by the one used on the 1 pu les paul junior.
This looks even better imho than the one gibson uses, the bodyshape is also al little bit of on a gibson the
horns are symetrical, these are clearly not symetrical.
Dit guitar has had a hard live, looking at the damages on it, if it is by intensif use as a guitar or use as a toy i
can’t tell.
The les paul special spawned from the les paul junior, there are also TV specials these guitars were al in
bright yellow because this colour was good for use on television in the black and white era.
I guess it’s made in korea, can’t find any made in japan markings on it, because there was not yet an lp special
clone in the collection this one stays.
