A 80’s guitar made by Hohner, fake floyd, toplock, all what they liked to see on a guitar in the 80’s, only that it
had to be a real Floyd Rose or Kahler and not a variation on the normal stratocaster tremelo.
The used trem unit has some similarities with a real flaoting trem like, roller sadles, fine tuners, the pivoting
on a pair of knife edges, but that’s all.
Because it’s not a floating tremelo, this is the essence of a kahler or floyd rose imho, so the toplock is a
useless addon.
I adjusted the tremelo in a way so that he is somehow floating just like you can do with a normal stratocaster
tremelo, this way the toplocks are of some use anyway, but without toplocks he will do fine too.
The in metallic gray finished body is made of plywood, and has the right weight, not lightweight like the most
modern made in china garbage.
Good feeling neck, when i bought thisd guitar the fretwork was completely worn out, so i refretted him, now
it’s again a good plaing guitar with a low action without any fretbuzz.
The humbucker is splitable this makes it a versatile guitar, the pickups are not that great but have a high
output so they could be a lot worse, a nice guitar to start playing on, exactly where these guitars were
intended for.
