Melody rondo

A nice italian ovation model by Melody, it’s the model with the single soundhole but still a very nice guitar,
good player only needed to adjust the nut, the slots were not deep emough cut for me, perfect for slide, but
not for normal use.
And offcourse i restrung the guitar with a set of new strings.
There is nothing wrong with this guitar, even the headstock is allright, equiped with a piezo pickup and a
nice basic tone volume control, just like on old stereo’s the top knob is for the volume and the ring beneeth
it is for tone control.
A very nice and good playing guitar sounds like you expect
with a  a ovation model, the neck is typical itailan, you like
them or you hate them, and i like them.
And this one is no exception on that point.
Unusual detail is the soundhole decoration, mostly this is a
thin sticker or transfer, not on this one, this is a 1 mm thick
plastic ring which had come loose so a drop of glue did
wonders.
This guitar also set a record, i owned for only one day,
bought it with the intent to trade it on but didn’t expected it
to go that fast.
