German, that’s for sure but who made it?
The pickups were mainly used by Hofner, also Astro, Gima, used these pickups, the trussrod cover with only
one screw is a common feature on Klira and Framus guitars.
So a mystery, this guitar has had a hard life and has been forgotten on an attick or in a cellar for a long time,
a refret wouldn’t be a bad idea but the fretwork is still acceptable.
The neck is a 3 piece neck, and the body is made by a proofed and tested Japanese idea, solid slab with an
arched plywood top, but here’s again a big difference with the japanese the body is not made of plywood, i
guess it’s alder.
Nice playing bolt on neck, needed to replace a few pot,s and tuners but he’s playable again and that’s what
counts and he has shitloads of mojo.
I’m very curious who made this, i can’t find any german build les paul model with the same hardware, the
bridge is missing a cover but that’s all.
