Custom les paul (matsumoku)
A nice les paul model branded Custom, this one is instead of the most most guitars who bear that name made
by Matsumoku, not FujiGen the neckplate takes away any doubdt.
Bought this one with some work on it, replaced the jack with jackplate and the toggleswitch, that was replaced
by a 2 way switch so all off or all on.
Leveled the frets, new controlcavity cover, new pickguard, replaced the humbuckerrings for higher ones,
those on it were way to flat and that asp looked weird at the bridge pu.
The previous owner already spend some money on it, dimarzio DP153 fred on newck positon, and new gotoh
tuners, new knobs, and this while he bought this guitar with the intention to smash it during a gig, but luckely
he came back on this decision when he discovered the guitar was not made of plywood.
Mahogany body with the for that time typical arched plywood top, with a soundchamber under it so unplugged
he’s quite loud to.
3 piece maple neck with the desired prelawsuit headstock, on wich the name is nicely inlaid with abalone.

The bridge pu is also not original, at that time they didn’t usded black polepieces, this pu issplitable, and
been once also, the strange mark near a volumeknob is a filled in hole where once a miniswitch was
mounted, on a unpractical postition imho.
This is a keeper, greet sounding and playing guitar, the easiest playing les paul model in my collection.
