Hondo EG202

A real Hondo this time, made in japan and inspired on the teisco spectrum 2 from 1969 most likely made by
Kawai for Hondo.
He has a lot of the typical Kawai trades, goldfoil pickups, white tuners and tunerrings, wire like stringguide
etc etc, at least this one is not made of plywood, he is in very good condition except a few minor damages,
the volume knob was broken when i bought it, but thanks to a fellow collector i got a replacement knob.
A typical guitar with a nice scratchplate and a chunky 19 frets neck, playabillity is getting better now the neck
gets in the right curve, has been without strings for years so that takes some time.
But will never become a real player, for slide a nice guitar whith a twangy sound, also the fact that the tremelo
is complete is a big bonus.
After spraying contact spray on the dreaded slide switchses everything is working perfectly, thisguitar is
completely original in and out.
