I have no idea wich ST model this is, i suspect a IV, seen a III form 1986 and that one looks different, a writing
on the neck in the heelpocket says he’s from 1989.
Bought him in terrible condition, ugly repsprayed and painted, and it looked like someone has been using a
hammer on the humbucker, that one was hold together by ducktape and was not working anymore.
The millimeters thick brown/white paint layers covered a carbon fibre plate, wich they used extremely strong
glue for to hold it on it’s place, i needed to use a blowtorch to remove it.
Sanding, leveling and painting, looked for the original colour but that’s sheer impossible to find pearl colour
in a spraycan, so it became a normal colour as close as possible to the original colour.
These guitars were made in Korea out of a slab plywood, but the neck is really great and he plays extremely
nice, and sounds beter than originally because i replaced the broken
humbucker wit an old dimarzio i had laying around.
The tremelo looks like a floyd rose but is it not, it’s a strattrem in disguise,
set it up flaoting but you only can go a small way up and than he rests on the
body.
But still a very nice hairmetal starter.
