A nice japanese, branded starfire made by EKS technology’s Nagoya, japan.
Strangly enough one of my first guitars was also a starfire, this was a guitar with a small body but normal
scale, but this is a fullsize strat copy, also regarding the weight, he’s heavy, at first i tought that it was a
deacent slab of wood until i started repairing the damage, he’s made of MDF!!
Discovered that the scratchplate is not orignal too, that’s for sure there is still a f29,95 pricetag on it.
This guitar is barely been played on, logical when you lookedat the way it was setup.
That was terrible, skyhigh action and all saddles on one line so he was out of tune.
After i restrung it and gave it a good setup, it turns out tobe a excellent playing Guitar with a nice neck
complete with skunkstripe.
And the neck is the only thing that survived, and the rest of the
hardware, i took it apart for spare parts after trying to sell it,
nobody wanted it due to the damage and the fact that the body
is made out of MDF.
The tuners are the typical japanese cheapo’s they do their work
but that’s all.
The pickups are of the closed model and soundnice except the
neck pickup, that sounds very thin.
Only problem on this guitar is the weird damage on the back,
they did a bad repairjob on that, just filled it up with plaster.
