A unuasual hollowbody, from audition, a brandname used by kawai in the early 70’s Audition was most ly used for the guitars intended for the UK market.

I made new scratchplates for it one was missing and the two small ones next to the whammybar were gone too.

a hell of a job to get those plates identical what has’nt worked out that well but good enough for me.

Atleast the hidious orange scratchplate they put on it is gone now.

I had to replace the tuners, what has been done before but the way they did that brought tears to my eyes, the back of the headstock looks terrible.

The tremelo arm is made from a old spoon it seems, but overal a nice looking guitar, nice jazzy sounding and easy playing.
