Yep, a true ugly one, mostly this model is equiped with a plain black scratchplate wich makes him even more
ugly, this brass scratch plate is a big improvement on it.
Most likely korean made in the 70’s, this because there is nowhere any made in japan markings to be found,
but i can be mistaken.
But still it’s ugly, a deformed mosrite is the closest it resembles.
Playabillity is not bad, the sopund s a little bit awkward has a citer like ring to it, i first tought there was
something loos that causes this, but no, i now suspect the hollow bridge to be the origin of it.
I was amazed the body is not made of plywood but a nice piece of alder, fat neck, normal on these cheapo’s
keeps good in tune but the tuners take some strenght to turn.
Getting the scratchplate back to it’s shining condition took the most work, for the rest, everything works
perfectly.
A nice conversation piece, or ev en to be used on stage, what i regard as ugly can be beautifull for another.
