A nice unusual hollowbody bass made by Egmond this time, bought it without bridge and nut but rare enough
to take it home.
Offcourse there are some battlescars but nothing serious.
Violinbass bridge ordered and made a nut, and because there are some frets running wild some glueing was
needed too.
This bass was very ditrty when i found it, took more time than i expected too get it clean, and finding the right
position for the bridge wasn’t that easy too.
I was amazed to discover the neck is still straight all electronics work, a little bit crackling, and the fretwork
is in good nick too, only a slight frebuzz on the low E not a big disaster because egmonds like this are not
bought to be used, collectors love these things.
Except the bridge completely original, so for someone who has an orignal bridge it’s easy to get it completely
original again.
