Version 2.2
Life les paul model

A unknown brand this time, most likely a Life made by samick and only for the german market there is a stylised L in a globe on the headstock but that’s all.

Construction wise, trusrodcover, tuners etc, i think hondo/kay, its a plywood guitar with a arched laminated top wich is fixed on the edges so there is a chamber beneath it.

This makes it quit loud unplugged too.

And offcourse bolt on, bought him from a friend of mine for a nice price, the guitar is in near mint condition the only thing wrong with it when i bought it was there was a kawai rollerbridge (bartype) on it for bridge and the a wraparoundbridge was used a tailpiece.

But that was easely fixed i always have some spare parts laying around, the pickups are unbranded and the neck pu is clearly not original but they sound good and have a high output.

I didn’t managed to get the intonation spot on, but it still in the right range, so not noticeable out of tune.

I altered the neckangle slightly and now he plays like a dream smooth and easy.

That’s one of the big pro’s on bolted necks you always can get a guitar good playable again when the neck is still straight.
