60’s framus  “The Ugly”

butt ugly framus from the 60’s, looks like a deformed SG.

Plays and sounds surprisingly fine, needed some work when i bought it, it was painted white all over in a extremely thick coat of it ,looked like rubber and could easy remove it.

Only needed a special knife to get under it without damaging the original paintjob.

After removing polished it and set it up

again.

Now it looks original again the finish is damaged but in a normal way for a guitar of that age.

The neckjoint is the nicest  i’ve ever seen on a bolt on it almost looks a set neck, no heelblock at all.

The neck and frets are still allright, the neck is a laminated one and those

almost never bend or warp.

It seems to be a rare one ,you will not find this one in any catalog that’s why the model name is unknown.
