Version 2.2
Ibanez AR-30 (1983)
A nice and quite rare AR-30, this model was the replacer of the
AR-50 and has only been produced in 1983.
So you won’t see one like this that often, the only difference with
the AR-50 is the position of the toggleswitch, they moved it from
the horn to the other controls, wich made it cheaper to produce,
less routingneeded.
A very versatile guitar and the phase and split switches also help
on this point, at the moment the phase switch is not working.
He was quite damaged when i bought it i repaired the worst damage
with a black marker and superglue.
The bridge is oxidised due to sweaty hands of the former owner
and the fretwork is severely worn down.
But still could be a lot worser, refretting is something i intend to get
done, this guitar is worth it.
Especialty when you know i paid 25 euro for this one on the
freemarket at queensday, for the rest a dissapointing day, couldn’t
find a lot, but this one made my day.
He plays nice and easy and sounds like a beast, all artists have
either setneck or are necktrough, this one is setneck, although
there are people who say even these cheapest of the artist range
were necktrough, and when you look at the back of a sunburst
AR-30 it looks like they are right .
Again a guitar that stays, suddenly i realize that i own quite a lot
double cut design guitars.
