Let me introduce myself i’m Wietse i live in a small town in the netherlands, called Grou.

But don’t call us dutch because we are frisians and proud of it too.

I’m born in 1965 so an old geezer for a lot of people, but still feeling young.

I worked as a truck mechanic by a DAF dealer nearby, but now after 18 years they kicked me out, ahd a rough year last year (discoverd leukemia on me, friends with cancer etc), i was trying to get my life back on track again but they decided to kick me while i was already down.

So i’m out of work for now.

I,m a so called old bachelor, don’t think a lot of women would like a livingroom filled with guitars.

But if you know them send them along.

next to my guitars i just have a overall love for music, and are also a fanatic cd and lp collector.

With more than 1700 cd’s and about 600 lp’s.

Reaching from blues and rock and roll till deathmetalso a very wide musical taste.

I’m slowing down on that last because i almost never listen to them, a cd is easier to use.

But recently an era came to the end, i always used to drive in old ford taunusses, for the last 15 years.

Now that has ended my last taunus has blewn his engine,

and now trows up al his oil when i travel above 100 km/h,

so it’ was in urgent need of repairs and sold it on.

Luckely it went to a ford lover.

I bought a 1974 ford capri 1600 GT to replace it, great

car of the rare 1.5 model, and fitted with a 2 liter

4 cilinder engine with more than 100hp, and that’s a lot

in a 1000 kilo car.

No need to say it’s serious fast this baby.

But still i’m not getting used to it, i’m missing the

comfort of the taunus, so if anybody offers a swap

with a very good tc1 (preverbly a coupe) i think i go

for it.

Love the looks but i can’t get used to it somehow.

Like i said i can’t get used to it, so i’ve been looking for

A ford granada.

And when you search you wil find, so i got one, was

offered to me by my capri parts dealer.

And if that’s not enough i also have something with old mopeds own one a old sparta a year older than me.

Just fun to drive around on on a hot day, and funny for anyone who sees me driving, because i’m a big guy

It’s a granada 2.8I combi ghia automatic on LPG, ghia, so luxery nd this one has almaost all the
available options and more, a former owner has build cruisecontrol and xenon lights in it, the last
i don’t like it doesn’t suits the car so i’m going to take that out.
Options are: automatic, electric adjustable and heated seats, power windows, electric adjustable
mirrors, high jackers, airco, powersteering, roofrack, sunroof, factory standard fog lights and
Beamers,central locking.
I equiped it myself with a power antenna, this was also a standard on the ghia versions but i bet
has been replaced over the years.
Man it drives great a granny, in the capri i was broken when i drove for 200km, not in this one,
it’s a real cruiser.
Did some work on it,fixed some rust problems, replaced the foglights and some other small things
