One of the best looking egmonds i’ve ever encountered, it’s a attempt to get the looks of the popular framus guitars of that time.

The catseye F holes even the 3 point fretmarkers are normal for framus but very unusual to see this on a egmond.

And to my amazement it’s a good player the guitar needed some setting up and the bridge had to be filed down big time.

Later on realizing that it was easier to alter the neck angle, very easy on egmondsthere is a big screw at the neck joint with a spring between heel and body, turning that screw results in altering the neck angle, weird construction but it works quite well.

He’s good playable, always a issue on old egmonds, often the nec is warped, bend etc.

I love the looks of these old jazzboxes but not electrical so it had to go, a great guitar for a egmond collector, the guitar is in near mint condition.
