A real cheapo most likely made by kawai in the early 70’s.

He has all the typical things normal for guitars made in this factory, wirelike stringguide, primitive rollerbridge, sliderswitches, tuners with white plastic tuner rings.

He was in a terrible condition when i bought it, but also very cheap, the scratchplate was homemade, made of wood and dirty looking but nicewly cut so a good mould for making a new one.

Took a afternoon and this is the result, the pickups are quite microphonic but good sounding, the fretwork is almost perfect, the neck is straight and it’s even a good player, even the intonation is deacent.

This is a big problem with guitars like that so overal a usuable plywood axe, onle the

whammybar is missing, as usual.

But still i sold it, it’s not interesting enough for me.
