framus stratmodel

This was a real basketcase, half of the scratch plate gone, big damages of the finish onthe bottom etc.

a standard scratch plate for stratmodels doesn’t fit on it so i had to make one myself, a lot of work but i’m content with the result.

I bought it for a friend of mine who is starting with guitarplaying, he already sings in a bluesband for a few years, and you can start a lot worser than on a framus.

The guitar is made out of a nice piece of wood, low in weight, has jumbofrets and a laminated neck, and plays like butter that smooth, better than a lot expensive guitars itried out.

He also sounds great , the pickups sound warm and full with a nice crunch, great pickups for blues, made some improvements on this guitar too, added small springs on the screws of the bridge saddles to stop vibrating of these and to fix the intonation (almost perfect now).

Made a whammybar for it, that was missing as usual.

I intended to change the tuners too but these original inline open tuners are way better than the new one i had laying around, so i left those alone.
