hagstrom futurama

This is a Hagstrom Futurama, made in the late 60’s by the famous swedish guitar factory Hagstrom, this brand is a few years ago revived but no longer they are made in Sweden. But in Korea, and though these are excellent guitars they lack the mojo of the old ones.

This one looked terrible when bought it, someone painted it dark blue with a paintbrush.

The guitar was complete and in working order, so had to refinish him, the claim hagstrom made in that time of the fastest necks in the world is true, nowadays there are faster but not at that time.

A while ago i refretted it because he had some issues that couldn’t easely be fixed in that department, now it again plays like it’s original intended to do, great.

This is an awesome guitar, the controls take some getting use to, especialty the fixed tonal positions, sounds sweet and funky really nice.
