Hofner model 173 with a 174 neck

Nice 60’s hofner refinished this one too, was in a terrible condition.

Somebody sanded the body and almost everything else with a sanding machine, yes even the coverplate from the tremelo was sanded.

Took some work too get thebody right again, a shame they did such a thing, because he was beautiful used.

Almost no paint on it anymore looked like a guitar played by Rory Gallagher.

Replaced the neck the original was too far gone, holes in the fretboard.

Now it plays and sounds great.

I recently aquired another one in bad condition but with undamaged chrome and schratch plate so i made a nice looking guitar out of two bangers.
