hondo II genesis model

Nice quality hondo II made in japan, set neck, mahogany body with arched top and chambered, so it sounds loud unplugged.

The dimarzio’s give this beast quite a voice, it has some minor damages and bucklerash, one knob was missing and the top of the toggleswitch is gone, also the topnut needed replacing the G string laid way too deep, causing fretbuzz.

This guitar has been well played on, the finish on the back of the neck is wearing thin, has a far better build quality than hondo’s normal have, maybe another matsumoku hondo?

The neckjoint is the smoothest i’ve ever seen almost looks like a necktrough.
