hondo fame series 761 |
A good looking superstrat made by hondo somewhere in the eighties, judging by the color scheme. The only thing i’ll had to repair was to recut the topnut (strings were way too high on it )and the fretboard needed soem patching up, the paint on the side was loosening, i fixed it with clearcoat and polished it slightly to get a smooth feel again. This is a quite heavy guitar with it’s plywood body, but still sounds allright even with the original pickups in it it’s not that bad. a very nice starter and a superstrat model which i don’t like so i bought it to make some money with it. |

jolana disco |

This is by far the uglyst guitar i have ever possessed it’s a Jolana Disco made in Czechoslovakia with one giant pickup in the center and square frets, and for me personaly the worst he is bright orange. And that’s a colour i hate, but i couldn’t leave this one alone maybe because he is so ulgy, i needed to shim the neck to get the action back to a normal level, it still is not great but acceptable. The knobs were missing and i had some old hifi knobs laying around that were the only one who fitted the strange size of potmeter axes. I put it up for sale the same day i bought with the idead to make some money out of it. There are also a few positive points on this guitar, the elder body and the nice rounded heel but that’s all, play’s looks and sounds like a piece of shit, it’s a real wallhanger. |
