custom gibson l6s copy |

Copy of a unusual gibson the L6S unkown to me a short while ago, this one is japanese branded Custom, a name used by the fuji gen gakki factory (ibanez) and varied from rubbish to very decent guitars. |
This one belongs in the last group, all maple and with a set neck, the 6 position switch gives a wide range of sounds, when it’s working properly. |
And that’s the problem right now, even the chrome pickupcovers were greenish and that tells you enough. |
Butt for 45 euro a bargain, the Fender Vibrochamp i bought from the same people at the fleamarket also for 45 euro and that’s a real bargain, they mostly go for about 400 euro on ebay. |
Nice unusual guitar and again proofs that there is a copy of almost every model guitar made available. |
And it’s again clear that getting out of bed early on a sunday rewards itself, and i don’t mean going to church. |

A great looking and playing strat clone from condor, made in Japan somewhere in the 70’s regarding the big headstock. It’s way better than i expected most of the unknown strat copy’s of that era are not that good, this one has a nice 3 piece body, flamed maple neck with skunkstripe and the quite rare antgiua burst finish. when i bought it the output jack was loose and there were two tuners missing, no problem for me i always have some usefull stuff laying around so could fix it up easely. He plays nice and easy with a low action, the only thing that bothers me is the sustainblock used on the tremelo, that is not a solid block but a piece of U profile, it was a hell of a job to get the strings trough to the other end, kept on missing that hole. But i managed it and now it’s allright, maybe i’m going to change that sustainblock sometime. A good guitar from a complete unknown japanese builder, the Condor corporation ltd. So who knows more please tell me. |
